Trevi's content management system (CMS)

Trevi's content management system (CMS) is used to manage the content of a Web site and is deployed to enable interactive use by a large number of contributors being that your employees or customers.

Managed content includes computer files, image media, audio files, electronic documents and web content. The idea behind a CMS is to make these files available inter-office, as well as over the web. CMS most often used as an archive as well. Many of our clients use CMS to store and share files with ease in a non-proprietary form even further broadening file availability. Trevi's Content Management Systems includes a feature for Web Content management and for a "workflow process."

"Work flow" is the idea of moving an electronic document along for either approval, or for adding content. Our Content Management System easily facilitates the process with e-mail notifications, and automated routing. This is ideally a collaborative creation of documents. CMS facilitates the organization, control, and publication of a large body of documents and other content, such as images and multimedia resources.

Developed by Trevi a web content management system is a content management system with additional features to ease the tasks required to publish web content to your web sites.

Our web content management system is (CMS) software, implemented as a web application, for creating and managing HTML content. It is used to manage and control a large, dynamic collection of web material (HTML documents and their associated images). A CMS facilitates content creation, content control, editing, and many essential web maintenance functions. It enables authoring (and other) tools designed to allow users with little or no knowledge of programming languages or markup languages to create and manage content with ease of use.

We use a database to store content, metadata, and/or artifacts that might be needed by the system. Content is frequently, but not universally, stored as XML, to facilitate reuse and enable flexible presentation options. A presentation layer displays the content to website visitors based on a set of templates. The templates are XSLT files.

Administration of web sites developed by Trevi is done through browser-based interfaces and fat client.

Trevi's Content Management System (CMS) differs from website builders like Microsoft FrontPage or Adobe Dreamweaver, which require an experienced coder to set-up and to add features. On contrary, Trevi's CMS is a website maintenance tool for non-technical administrators. It allows our customer's non-technical users to effortlessly make changes to an existing website with little or no training.

Internet is the best and the most effective way to communicate with customers, employees, partners and vendors. As it evolved from print brochures like static content, into interactive information media providing access to business processes for external customers and internal users, the complexity of web site structures and the task of maintaining their content have increased significantly. Developed by Trevi solutions substantially reduce OPEX for our customers through significant simplification of website operations and maintenance procedures. We enable our customers to refocus their efforts on their core competency tasks instead of day to day technical routine. Simplification of content management secures timely content updates, ensurs content accuracy and reduces the time to market and improves end-user experience.

Trevi's Enterprise Content Management (ECM)

Trevi's Enterprise Content Management System (ECM) is the set of strategies and technologies employed for managing the capture, storage, security, revision control, retrieval, distribution, preservation and destruction of documents and content.

Enterprise Content Management System especially concerns content imported into or generated from within an organization in the course of its operation, and includes the control of access to this content from outside of the organization's processes.

ECM system designed to manage unstructured content (and to a lesser degree structured data), so that an organization, such as a business or governmental agency, can more effectively meet business goals: increase profit or improve the efficient use of budgets, serve their customers with a competitive advantage, or to improve responsiveness, and protect itself (against non-compliance, law-suits or turnover within the organization. In large enterprises, ECM - content preservation, re-usability, and control of access to content - is not regarded as an optional expense; whereas, very small organizations may find their needs met by carefully managed shared folders.

Recent trends in business and government indicate that Enterprise Content Management System is becoming a core investment for organizations of all sizes, more immediately tied to organizational goals than in the past: increasingly more central to what an enterprise does, and how it accomplishes its mission.

Developed by Trevi solutions allow our clients to retain consistent branding messages, improve product merchandising, centrally manage documents/content pieces and continuously add value to the appropriate audiences.
